It was still dark when I woke up at 3 am on Sunday 29 October. Auckland Marathon starts at 6 am so I had enough time to eat a proper breakfast and somehow get to the start line.

Kuching Marathon is one of the biggest marathons in Borneo and one of the most interesting ones in Malaysia. This year it took place on 13 of August with full marathon, half marathon, 10 and 5km categories. I was running the full one, starting at 1 am!
